Geography & Philosophy

The department of Geography & Philosophy oversees two distinct programs: the Program in Geography and the Program in Philosophy.  The Program in Geography offers two degree programs, a Bachelor of Arts in Environment, Sustainability and Geography, and  Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Science. The Program also offers two certificate programs (undergraduate and post-baccalaureate) in Geographic Information Science.  The Program in Philosophy offers a major and minor in philosophy, with a track in applied ethics, as well as a minor in Cognitive Science. We also offer a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, for students whose educational goals can be best met by integrated course-work from several fields of study.
