Majors & Minors
We're excited to announce the combination of the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) and the School of Fine Arts. Now, under one umbrella, students choose from nearly 40 majors, 33 minors, and three certificate programs that combine liberal arts, social sciences, visual arts, and performance art.
Â
A liberal arts degree challenges students to think beyond their experience, culture, and what they know to experience personal growth.

ADVISING
Advising is an important part of the commitment to a quality undergraduate experience for students. All students are assigned to a professional or faculty advisor, and the CLA Advising & Academic Services office facilitates learning, development, and success through academic guidance, the registration process, and any other concerns or academic difficulties.

SCHOLARSHIPS
Each year CLA awards over $500,000 in scholarship funds to students helping offset the costs of tuition and fees, and giving our students the financial flexibility to pursue learning opportunities outside of the classroom.

DEAN'S LIST
Each semester, CLA students are recognized for high academic achievement by being placed on the CLA Dean's List. A memo is placed on their transcript indicating this achievement. To be eligible for this honor, students must have a 3.50 minimum term GPA and 12 graded credits.
