Teach art, after school art club, theatre in and out of school

What was your favorite class or project in college?
Ceramics 2, Wheel Throwing with Liz and any Art History class with Jen Webb

How did SFA professors influence you?
They challenged my perspectives on the world by looking at a variety of work.

What advice would you give to a incoming Art & Design student?
It's not the number of hours you spend creating that matters, but that you pushed outside your comfort zone and worked around others not just at home.

What was your favorite local Duluth hangout in college?
Pep band house or Dublin's

What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you since graduating from UMD SFA?
Hearing from my students or their parents how I have helped them personally and creatively grow as a person

What was your biggest takeaway from UMD SFA?
I can always be and create better.

How did you make the decision to attend UMD for school?
