UMD Photography Student Wilson Johnson honored as Artist of the Month | The Borealis Art Guild

Wilson Johnson is currently a photography student at the University of Minnesota – Duluth. Wanting to break away from the digital screen in order to feel what he is producing, Wilson is driven to work with traditional non-photographic printing methods and traditional cyanotype and other analog photographic methods.

Johnson considers his art as a way to communicate with the world around him. Not being a wordsmith, he works hard so that his work can speak for itself. The topics displayed are plucked right from Johnson’s life, making his work very personal.
