Communications Sustainability Intern at UMD's Office of Sustainability
What was your most memorable experience?
The most memorable experience from my internship was when the office toured the Western Lakes Superior Sanitary District (WLSSD) and after it I started to compost my food scraps.
Has your internship influenced your career path?
This experience has influenced my career path by showing me how much working with facilities that then influence the surrounding communities mean a lot to me. Being able to implement strategies to help people for the common good through environmental approaches has become my passion.
