Robin Fuller began her association with the Department of Writing Studies when she was a graduate student in the years 1991-1993; she received her Masters of English Studies degree in 1993 and was hired by the University of Wisconsin Superior and Lake Superior College to teach various writing and English classes. She was hired at UMD full time in 1994 and since that time has taught multiple sections of Freshman Writing and all the Department offers in Advanced Writing Courses. She also developed the first online course for the Department, serving psychology majors who wanted to pursue an online degree.
Besides her many responsibilities in the Department of Writing Studies, Robin is a hiking enthusiast and spends many happy hours on the Lake Superior Hiking Trail. Eventually, she hopes to expand her hiking experiences to include the Appalachian Trail and other equally challenging and beautiful sites.
