Charern Lee received his Ph.D. in criminology and criminal justice from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in 2017. He has taught Criminological Theory, Delinquency and Juvenile Justice, and Crime Prevention. His research interests include cyberbullying, fear of crime, Hmong studies, and criminological theory. He has published in journals such as Criminal Justice Policy Review and Criminology, Criminal Justice, Law & Society. When he is not teaching or writing, he likes to go hiking, biking, fishing, and kayaking with his partner, Jara.
