I teach Public Speaking and Interpersonal Communication at UMD. I have taught various communication and theater classes around the area for over 15 years.
I am very involved in the local theater scene. I founded Rubber Chicken Theater in 2008, and since that time, we have staged many different types of live theater productions: scripted works by established playwrights, originally written and performed sketch comedy revues and radio shows, as well as theatrical events unique to the Twin Ports. An example of this would be our Chicken Hat Plays, where we write, rehearse, and perform 8 original one-act plays in a 24-hour period.
In addition, I have been writing a weekly column for the Budgeteer News since June 2010 that takes a humorous look at life in the Twin Ports, as well as universal observations on my family, my theater life, and my professional life.
I enjoy spending time with my wife Sue and our daughter Kaylee. We enjoy kayaking, golfing, and geocaching
