Bio

Melissa is a first semester graduate student in the English Studies program, minoring in Literacy and Rhetorical Studies, with a focus in Feminist Theory. They received their Bachelor's from St. Cloud State University with a double major in English Rhetoric and Women's Studies. Melissa hopes to become involved on campus at UMD in both the English and Women's Studies departments. Melissa enjoys video games, reading, writing, and cultivating equality for those in marginalized spaces. They are a cisgender member of the LGBTQ community and prefers the pronouns they/them.
