The Master of Liberal Studies Program offers students an opportunity to assemble an interdisciplinary degree that suits their individual interests and career objectives. Students work with the best faculty across UMD. With the help of their advisors, students adopt multiple approaches to solve the most important problems facing our community, our region, and our lives as individuals.
The Program allows students to designate one of four emphases to help focus their work.
- Emphasis in the History of Ideas
- Emphasis in Media Studies
- Emphasis in Global Indigenous Studies
