The purpose of this is to provide resources for a lecture; a seminar; or series of lectures, seminars and presentations, to occur at least once every two years, dedicated to informing and educating people about the Holocaust, its victims, causes, consequences, lessons, and memory. Ignorance about the Holocaust is widespread in America, especially among young people.
Helping communities achieve their environmental, social and economic sustainable development goals
This major is unique because it is individually designed; students work with faculty advisers to create a field of study involving courses from several departments.
Aiming to promote knowledge and understanding of both topical, and enduring, international and global issues among students, staff and the community served by UMD.
CLA continues its tradition of instituting technology initiatives which enhance students' educational experience, skills, and professional training.
