The Program in Writing Studies hosted a lecture by Erec Smith. Smith discussed the detriments of much anti-racist activism, pedagogy, and scholarship in Rhetorical Studies. He will also explain how a theory of empowerment can better assist activists in promoting anti-racism while enhancing rhetorical pedagogy.
