ELWS and Communication Faculty address Religion in the Public University

ELWS and Communication faculty reflect upon the place of religion in the public university.

In a session on "Secularity, Religion, and the Public University," Elizabethada Wright chaired a session bringing two UMD faculty into dialogue with the Associate Director of University Engagement at the Anselm House (in St. Paul) and with the founder of the Wilberforce Academy (an organization whose mission is to train students to be redemptive change agents in their home societies and workplaces).  The five scholars reflected upon the place of religion in the public university.
