ELWS Faculty Share Research and Best Practices at MNWE, the Minnesota Writing & English Conference

MnWE is "Minnesota Writing and English," a consortium of Upper Midwest college and university writing and English faculty and staff centered in Minnesota. Their annual two-day conference each spring attracts up to 200 attendees.

In Breakout Session D (1:45-3:00 pm, on Friday, March 26), entitled "Teaching with Diverse Texts," Whitney Jacobson will present alongside faculty from University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and alongside members of the Minnesota Black Publishing Arts Collaborative Lake of the Woods Room. And, over the lunch hour in the same day (Friday, March 26, 12:00-1:30 pm), for the conference plenary, David Beard will join Myrl Beam, Macalester College and Nicole (Niki) Ciulla, Saint Mary’s University, to talk about Reinvigorating Community-Engaged Learning Lake Superior Room.
