Sarah Brinkman: Alumni
Sarah Brinkman graduated from UMD with a Bachelor of Arts in 2006. As a student in the College of Liberal Arts, she majored in Women’s Studies, Political Science and International Studies. During her time at UMD Sarah participated in a number of extra-curricular activities and organizations on campus and in the community. She studied abroad twice - once for an academic year in Kenya and once for a J-term course in Mexico. She served as an intern with the Women’s Resource and Action Center (WRAC), a teacher’s assistant for Women’s Studies and a student employee in the International Education Office (IEO).
Sarah has since earned a Master’s of Arts in Management and a Master’s of Business Administration from the College of St. Scholastica and currently works for the National Rural Health Resource Center, providing technical assistance and support to rural health providers nationwide. Sarah has made Duluth her long term home and lives on the hillside with her husband, Chris, and their 2 year old son, Wally.
